Location: Cambridge (CB10)
Duration: 2 month contract, starting 1st May 2025
Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) 5pm finish Friday

Are you a hands-on technician with experience in assembling and testing complex equipment? We have a short term contract available to cover a project for our client based South Cambridge.

You'll be responsible for assembling and testing pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, with flexibility to support additional R&D projects as needed. You'll work as part of a collaborative engineering team to build, test and refine high-specification equipment in compliance with GMP standards.

Responsibilities
* Assemble and test mechanical and electromechanical rigs
* Perform force testing, precise measurements, inspections and controlled unit assembly
* Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues during builds and tests
* Document testing methods, results and build records to GMP standards
* Collaborate with engineers to contribute to test reports
* Interpret and work with CAD files to support complex assemblies

Requirements
* Previous experience in mechanical/electromechanical environments
* Familiarity with ISO 13485
* Skilled in reading and interpreting CAD files and engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation
