Draughtsperson

Location: Ely (CB6)
Duration: 6 months initially
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Polytec are looking for an experienced Draughtsperson for an initial 6-month project for our client based in Ely. You will assist with the review and creation of manufacturing drawings as well as maintenance of legacy documentation.

Responsibilities:
* Generating specifications and drawings to recognised standards for precision machined components and fabricated assemblies.
* Reviewing and updating legacy documentation.
* Assisting with the creation of BOMs and other manufacturing documentation using the MRP system.
* Design of derivative products from concept through to production.

Requirements:
* HNC or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience using 3D CAD packages, ideally proficient in SolidWorks
* Experience using MRP systems.
* Strong attention to detail.
