Polytec are looking for a Production Operative for our Cambridge based client. You will have responsibility for electromechanical assembly, programming and production test right through to packing of finished goods.

Responsibilities:

* Assemble, program, test or pack in accordance with provided specifications ensuring standards are met
* Ensure work is completed within target times, recording onto computer-based systems
* Ensure non-conformance or interruptions to production are recorded

Requirements:

* Ability to read and interpret information and specifications
* GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English
* Must be hard working and reliable
* High standards of time keeping and attendance
* Committed to ensuring quality levels are achieved
* Excellent attention to detail
* A good level of dexterity
* IT literate, competent user of Microsoft Office
* Previous experience working in a medium volume electromechanical manufacturing environment would be helpful
