Location: Saffron Walden (CB11)
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Polytec are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist ideally with a background in chemistry to join our client based in Saffron Walden. You will need to be located within an easy commutable distance of Saffron Walden for this role.

Responsibilities:

* Support sales teams at visits, conferences and daily operations
* Encourage the generation and nurturing of leads
* Respond to customer sales enquiries
* Exhibit products online and in-person
* Perform equipment installations and customer training
* Maintain accurate records, visit reports, prospect lists and data via CRM platform
* Prepare and deliver sales / training materials (presentations, webinars, demos)
* Assist with sales reports

Requirements:

* Scientific / technical background, ideally in chemistry or chemical engineering
* Experience with laboratory instruments, handling and demonstration
* Technical knowledge in chemical synthesis, process development, work-up and evaporation techniques
* Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
* Proficient using Microsoft Office packages and Salesforce
* Valid driver's license
* Self-motivated and organised with good communication skills
