Divisional Marketing Manager

We are recruiting for a Divisional Marketing Manager to join a rapidly growing team in Cambridge. We're looking for someone who will generate and maintain a plan with business development and capability leaders, that identifies the most valuable marketing approach and content to support the business' goals. Working in close collaboration with the Marketing team, you will manage marketing campaigns and coordinate the timely production of content related to your division, for use through channels such as the web, presentations, webinars, press releases, digital media, events and visitor tours. Your work will also need to convey the brand and positioning of the company to encourage marketing qualified leads, with prospects quickly understanding what they do and how they can add value to businesses. The role will also involve communication of these capabilities within the company, to facilitate cross-selling of capabilities in other areas of the business. This will involve further collaboration with the Marketing team and other divisional marketing managers within the company to share ideas and best practice. The role will offer a high degree of variety and interest through interaction with a diverse set of markets, technologies and engineering disciplines, across a wide range of application areas.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Invest time in understanding the division's markets and audiences and the trends across them
* Generate and manage the divisional marketing plan based on a set of marketing campaigns
* Coordinate and contribute to the creation of content, suitable for a variety of channels
* Define marketing deliverables/publicity for the client and internal development projects that we undertake
* Cross-fertilise best practice in marketing content
* Encourage consistency of corporate brand and values across the company under the guidance of the Marketing Director
* Work closely with the Marketing team to develop campaign strategy and content
* Attend relevant industry events and conferences to develop knowledge of the latest market trends and competitive insight

What We're Looking For:

* A degree in a marketing and/or relevant discipline
* Experience and track record of success in managing marketing activities for a business in one or more of the following market sectors: Industrial, Defence, Energy, Consumer
* Knowledge of digital marketing best practice, marketing automation tools and process and the development and execution of marketing campaigns
* A flair for highlighting application and value in technology, creating compelling narratives and promoting via PR and social media
* Experience of supporting complex, high-value, technical business development in a B2B environment
* Experience of taking products through the full development cycle is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Supplementary commercial qualifications are highly desirable
