Our client, based in St Ives is looking for a new member of staff to join their administration team dealing with customer enquiries, order processing, buying and invoicing customers. Ideally you'll have experience using Pegasus. You'll be part of an integrated team who ensure things are completed accurately. Initially a temporary role, this position may go permanent for the right candidate.
Previous experience working within the electronics industry in the control of inventory is required. You will be responsible for ensuring that BOM's on the control system represent the customers' BOMs accurately. An understanding of electronic components is an essential part of the role.
You will be responsible for entering detailed customer data onto the system, ensuring that the structure of the BOM relates to the production process.
Other tasks will include monitoring the inventory to ensure that it accurately reflects the actual parts in stock, and controlling parts that are obsolete or excessive.
You will also act as an internal technical consultant for production staff should queries on the parts being specified arise.
